This phrase is often heard in our industry. Unfortunately, there are only a few service providers who really think and act in the customer’s interest. With this realisation it was obvious for us to get to work and change this situation.

We were and are convinced that the days of cumbersome IT service providers are numbered. Today’s market demands productive and efficient service providers who can meet the highest demands in terms of flexibility and project management while still offering attractive prices. Lean structures, an efficient approach and unconditional orientation towards customer requirements: this was and is the vision with which the BORDONARO IT system provider approaches all tasks and projects.

Soon after its foundation in the last millennium, the success of our company became apparent in the form of a constantly growing customer base of small and medium-sized companies, to whom we offer manufacturer-independent IT and Internet solutions from a single source.

1996

THE BEGINNING OF THE INTERNET

Due to the internet- this brand-new medium – the need to have an own internet presence came up for the first time. Already in 1996, we rented our first server from Schlund & Partner, which was later purchased by 1&1, and rented web space from here to our first customers, for whom we created static websites. At that time, we were still a part-time one-man business practiced from home.

2002

FROM SIDELINE TO SELF-EMPLOYMENT

In 2002, after numerous Internet projects, web shops and a considerable number of web hosting customers, we did the next step into self-employment by giving up our main activity in one of Germany’s largest IT system providers. From now on we looked after small and medium-sized customers as well as medical clinics in the vicinity of Speyer.

2007

OUR FIRST LARGE OFFICE

After the growth of the last years we already had grown to 4 employees and moved into our first large office with reception and huge workshop in Mausbergweg 1 in Speyer. On 150 sqm we had optimal conditions for further expansion.

2009

NEW OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE ADDITION OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Since we had already gained more than 10 years of experience in frontend development, in 2009 we took over a complete individual development in the field of medicine for the first time. From then on, we not only developed this solution further by ourselves, but also provided support in more than 25 countries around the world in various languages and time zones. This was the birth of our in-house development department.

2012

OWN CO-LOCATION AND START OF OUR CLOUD PLATFORM

After we had gained a lot of experience in the area of server and desktop virtualisation in the last years and also completed a large number of web projects, we decided to host data centre services for our customers in the form of private infrastructures as well as servers entrusted to us in the data centre. This was the birth of our own cloud and data centre division.

2014

A NEW NAME, A NEW CORPORATE FORM

Having continued to grow and after successful positioning in the midmarket, our old business form became obsolete. For this reason, we founded BORDONARO IT GmbH & Co. KG in Speyer, which is represented by Paolo Bordonaro as managing director and Dino Bordonaro as General Manager. At the same time, we moved our data centre location to PfalzKom – MANET in Mutterstadt to be able to react more flexible to the needs of our customers and partners. This was the birth of our SECURANIA Whitelabel Cloud Platform, which now utilises numerous partners to sell the cloud services of our company in their own name.

2015

MYMEDAX, THE LEADING DIGITAL ANAMNESIS SOFTWARE IS BEING REDEVELOPED

In 2015, we got to know Vidano GmbH, which is the market leader for digital anamnesis in Germany with its product myMedax. The product became technically outdated over the years and we received the order to develop the product from scratch, based on the Zend Framework. This order led to an intensive friendship between the shareholders, which began with the founding of SUXEDO GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture of optimIT GmbH based in Saarbrücken and BORDONARO IT GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Speyer in 2016. Since then we develop and distribute the new MyMedax 3.0 together and look back on many beautiful and exciting projects in the field of digital anamnesis.

2016

LONG-TERM CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS AND SATISFIED EMPLOYEES

After we were able to grow further thanks to our long-term customer relationships and, of course, thanks to our satisfied customers and employees, the space at Mausbergweg 1 was unfortunately no longer sufficient. After a long search we found our new home with 300 sqm in the Wormser Landstraße 83a in Speyer, where we moved in after extensive reconstruction measures in July 2016. Since then, we have been serving a large number of medium-sized customers with the intention of growing successfully together with our customers in the coming years.
